Course Policy:

There is complete uniformity between the sections

One-hour quizzes and the final exam will be closed book
and closed notes, but you can use an 8½ x 11 inch review sheet
written on both sides. You will need to submit the review sheet along
with the exam.

Short quizzes may be given during the recitation or during
the lecture.

No make-up quizzes will be given. A grade of zero will be recorded for a missed
quiz unless you provide a valid excuse or have prior instructor
approval, in which case the grade will be prorated.

The lowest quiz grade (out of 4 quizzes) will be dropped

Homework will
be collected in class, every Tuesday,
on the dates indicated on the course calendar.

assignments are posted on the course web site on WebCT.
